Ursula Andress became a feminine symbol after her breakthrough performance in Dr. No, the first James Bond movie that came out in 1962. After all, her beach scene as Bond girl Honey Ryder is considered to be iconic today. The Swiss star, commonly known as the first Bond girl, later appeared in the Bond parody Casino Royale as Vesper Lynd.
Now, Andress is 85 years old but hasn’t been acting since 2005, when she starred in The Bird Preachers. It’s worth mentioning that she was awarded honorary citizenship in Ostermundigen, her birthplace, the year after that film was released.
