Julie Goodyear – Age 79
Julie Goodyear first appeared on Coronation Street in 1966 when she was in her early 20s. At 79, she now looks significantly different from when we were introduced to her on the show as Bet Lynch. She became a series regular in the ’70s and departed the second time following a cervical cancer diagnosis.
Goodyear chose not to share her diagnosis publicly and only revealed it after beating the illness. She even set up a self-titled charitable organization after recovering. She’s been married to Scott Brand, her fourth husband, since 2007.
