Johnny Depp is perhaps best known for starring in the Pirates of The Caribbean series of films, but he found equal success collaborating with Tim Burton. In fact, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street won him a Golden Globe under the Best Actor category.
Depp is now 57, and while he still sports a somehow edgy look, it’s worlds apart from the long locks he once donned. The Hollywood Reporter prompted an online petition in 2021 to have Depp back on the Pirates franchise. That’s after the publication reported that his career had taken a downturn, and the petition successfully reached the 500,000 signature goals.
