Some dedicated actors go to great lengths for a role. Karen Gillan is among them, even going as far as shaving her head to play Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy. To be clear, she knew from the get-go that the job would require the star to be bald, but she admitted that she agreed to it, not knowing that she would bag the part.
This dedication might be the reason she has a slew of upcoming projects. Gillan will next appear in Gunpowder Milkshake and Dual. She will reprise her role as Nebula in Thor: Love and Thunder in 2022 and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in 2023.
