Lauren Tewes – Age 69
Cynthia Lauren Tewes is best known for her role as the cruise director of the luxury passenger cruise ship MS Pacific Princess in the popular ABC sitcom The Love Boat. She has appeared in more than 200 episodes of the show during her eleven-year stint as Cruise Director Julie McCoy.
Tewes’ promising career in Hollywood, however, was cut short due to her drug addiction. By the time she got her life back on track, Tewes had already lost her house, job, and husband. She recently played Nina Ivanovna in director Wes Hurley’s comedy about a gay kid in the Soviet Union, Potato Dreams of America.
