Chevy Chase – Age 79
As of 2022, “Saturday Night Live” is still going strong, with numerous viewers tuning in weekly to the show’s 47th season. But in the late ’70s, “SNL” was but a novelty. Luckily, the show’s original cast included comedians as talented as Chevy Chase, who helped take the sketch comedy format to the mainstream.
Aside from being one of the pioneers of “SNL,” Chase also worked in the famous “National Lampoon” comedy flicks. Needless to say, his influence on American comedy is enormous. The actor from New York City is still active today. In 2021, he had a voice role in “Panda vs. Aliens.”
