Vertigo star Kim Novak had such a bright future in Hollywood that many people were shocked when she decided to turn her back on a lucrative job. Looking back, the 88-year-old star revealed that there were a lot of factors involved in her decision, one of which was how brutal the industry could be.
Such was what she experienced when she briefly returned to the spotlight in 2014 to present an award in the Oscars. Novak remains working in the creative world as an artist. As of 2021, she resides in her Oregon home, where she also spends her time painting.
