David Hasselhoff, dubbed The Hoff, is the Guinness World Record holder for the most-watched man on television. He first caught people’s attention on The Young and The Restless as Dr. Snapper Foster. However, it was Baywatch that made him a global phenomenon. At one point, the show’s 1.1 billion viewers even made it the world’s most-watched TV series.
In January 2021, Hasselhoff held the Hoff Auction, which featured over four decades of his personal items, from on-screen and on-stage wardrobe to awards, autographed items, television memorabilia, and more. A portion of the auction’s proceeds goes to The Hoff’s charitable organizations.
