Don King – Age 90
There’s no shortage of famous athletes in the boxing world, but the semi-retired American boxing promoter Don King didn’t need to step into the ring to build a reputation for himself. Over the years, he’s been controversially linked to a series of accusations of dishonest business practices, but that doesn’t erase his valuable contributions to the sport’s history.
King is mainly known for promoting some of boxing’s most iconic matchups, including the unforgettable “The Rumble in the Jungle” (George Foreman v. Muhammad Ali). In 2021, he was featured in the TV documentaries “Muhammad Ali” and “Myke Tyson: The Knockout.”
