In 2022, the up-and-coming American actress Keke Palmer starred in the drama “Alice,” and guess who she studied while looking for inspiration? That’s right, the one-and-only Pam Grier! Still influential (and active), she’s best known for her work in Blaxploitation flicks of the ’70s. Later on, she was given the starring role in the late ’90s movie “Jackie Brown,” which helped to revitalize her acting career.
Featured in over 100 acting productions, Grier was most recently seen in the TV series “Bless This Mess.” More than just an actress, she’s also an American pop-culture symbol.
