Born David Kotkin, David Copperfield took his stage name from the popular Charles Dickens character. And it served him right both as a magician and a sometimes actor. With tens of millions of tickets sold for his shows, Copperfield was described by Britannica as one of the most famous stage illusionists of the late 20th and 21st centuries.
Even more impressive is how he has managed to look almost the same as his past self. He’s changed his hairstyle, though, from the shaggy cut of the ’70s to a more modern crop. The Emmy-winning performer is still boggling the minds of people through his Las Vegas residency in 2021.
