The American actor Lou Diamond Phillips may have let go of his characteristic long hair as the years went by, but he’s still doing what he does best: acting in major Hollywood features! He became famous in the late ’80s by appearing in “La Bamba” and the critically acclaimed movie “Stand and Deliver.” Since then, he’s made it to over 140 productions.

The 2019 TV series “Prodigal Son” allowed Phillips to reconnect with a mainstream audience. Younger viewers may also recognize him from the 2008 biopic movie “Che” and the 2015 drama “The 33.” In 2021, he appeared in a couple of episodes of the Netflix animated series “Trese.”
