SUZI QUATRO – AGE 71
Susan Kay Quatro rose to fame in the ’70s with a string of hit singles, including “Can the Can.” Her self-titled album released in 1973 got the ball rolling for her, and she has since released 18th albums. As an actress, she is best known for her role on “Happy Days” as Leather Tuscadero.
You might have also seen her in “Minder,” “Absolutely Fabulous,” and “Nightbreed.” In 2020, the Women’s International Music Network awarded her the Icon Award. Talking to The Guardian early in 2021 about “The Devil in Me,” her eighteenth album, her famous jumpsuit came up. Inspired by Jane Fonda’s character in “Barabella,” Quatro revealed that she still wears the jumpsuit and feels like herself.
