Patti LaBelle is a songbird that began her career in the early ’60s as an R&B artist. She moved from being the lead songstress of Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles to performing soul, then funk, and 80’s ballad with great success.
Despite moving into her late 70s, she looks like she could boogie with the best and is worthy of her title as the Godmother of Soul. Perhaps the On My Own singer’s youthful and vital appearance is owed to her experiences with many stylistic changes in her music, and we notice it!
