Before venturing into acting, Beverly D’Angelo worked with Hanna-Barbera Productions as a cartoonist/animator. The “Coal Miner’s Daughter” star temporarily settled in Canada, where she pursued a career as a rock singer. Besides working as a session vocalist, she also picked up singing gigs at bars and coffeehouses to make ends meet.
D’Angelo’s acting career started on the stage with performances in the Broadway production “Rockabye Hamlet.” “Captain and the Kings” marked her screen debut, and she became an even bigger name after starring in the series of “National Lampoon’s Vacation” movies. Her list of credits continues expanding, and in 2021 she appeared in “The Good House.”
