Even though Ralph Nader never managed to win a presidential election regardless of the number of times he tried, he accomplished many other things in life. The lawyer, author, and lecturer served as a political activist involved in consumer protection, environmental rights, and government reform causes.
Among the few other things that he couldn’t do was to ever get married or have children. It’s not that he couldn’t, but in reality, he didn’t want to as he chose to commit to his work rather than build a family, he told Karen Croft. We hope he doesn’t regret his decision today, at 86 years old.
