Whether blind dates are 100% guaranteed to work is anyone’s guess, But for Michelle Pfeiffer and writer David E. Kelley, it seemed to work like a bomb. Just 10-months after being set up on a blind date by a friend, and a trip to the movies to see Bram Stoker Dracula, they were married in November 1993.
Conveniently Pfeiffer was already in the process of adopting a child, and with them getting married she continued the process. The child was christened on the day of their wedding and a year later Pfeiffer gave birth to her and Kelley’s biological son. Pfeiffer recently starred in the comedy French Exit.
