JESSICA ROWE AND PETER OVERTON | 18 YEARS

Former Studio 10 host Jessica Rowe found her husband working in the same profession as hers. Peter Overton is also a journalist and a presenter at Nine News Sydney. They met when the Member of Australian Order assignee was just 19 and working for Channel 9 on a university assignment.

They reconnected years later, and in June 2001, they had their first date on a Sunday night at a Thai restaurant. Married in 2004, they have happily welcomed two daughters into their family; Allegra and Giselle. Rowe says that frequent date nights keep their spark alive. Overton speaks highly of his courageous wife and talks about her “very caring of people.”
