The funniest thing about this marriage is that Susan actually didn’t want a relationship. They met on the set of the film Gothika, in which Robert was starring and she was part of the production team. This was why she didn’t want anything between them.
But it was also probably because of that that Downey fell for her in the first place. He credits her as one of the reasons he has stayed sober and it was after their marriage that things really started looking up for the Iron Man star. They have two children together, and Robert is set for a role in the upcoming film All-Star Weekend.
