Ivan Rodriguez, better known by his nicknames “Pudge” and “I-Rod,” was a legendary catcher in Major League Baseball. He was a 21-year veteran who was named an All-Star a record 14 times, and his defensive prowess earned him 13 Gold Gloves.
In addition to his 1999 American League MVP award, Rodriguez has been integral to two World Series championship teams.
