Shirley MacLaine (Born in 1934 – Virginia)
If you want to find someone who does things in moderation, then Shirley Maclain isn’t your person. She hit the ground running in 1955 in “The Trouble with Harry,” an Alfred Hitchcock film. From there, she won multiple Oscar nominations in 1958, 1960, 1963 and had a last hurrah in 1977. However, in “Terms of Endearment,” she won the precious prize in 1983.
After taking the grand prize on the screen, she also became a writer in several autobiographical novels or memoirs. She had a quiet working year in 2021, but she’s still around, as we caught her hanging out with her daughter in 2021.
