Marla Gibbs (Born in 1931 – Chicago)

Marla Gibbs has an acid-dry wit that, coupled with some sass and sarcasm, has blown audiences away ever since she appeared on our screens in the ’70s. She landed the role in the CBS sitcom “The Jeffersons,” as Florence Johnston. A decade later, producers just had to give her the lead character of Mary Jenkins in the show “227.”

We’re shocked to know that Gibbs is still actively acting, and in 2021 alone, she appeared in the TV Series “Big Shot” and “Young Sheldon.” That same year, Gibbs also took part in the Days of Our Lives TV series.
