Barbara Eden cemented her place in TV history when she portrayed the titular genie in the ’60s sitcom “I Dream Of Jeannie.” And although she wasn’t quite able to top that performance, she continued to land jobs steadily in the decades that followed, working six decades into her entertainment career.
As for the secret behind her longevity, Eden shared with Page Six that she tries to stay active and often works with a personal trainer. She still looks back fondly on her Jeannie days, even publishing a children’s literary work titled “Barbara And The Djinn” in 2021.
