BOBBY SHERMAN (BORN IN 1943 – CALIFORNIA)
Bobby Sherman was a stalwart in the world of entertainment for 35 years, belting out singles like “Easy Come, Easy Go” and “Little Woman” between 1962 and 1997. He was a composer on the side who rose to fame as a teen idol in the late ’60s and early ’70s. But he abandoned everything, even his fame, and acclaim, to serve mankind.
In the ’70s, the erstwhile actor-singer worked as an EMT and police officer, becoming a deputy sheriff up until 2010. Sherman and his wife co-founded the Brigitte & Bobby Sherman Children’s (BBSC) Foundation to assist kids in Ghana in obtaining a better level of education.
