There is no right or wrong way to make a fire, but there is a more and less effective method of doing it. This guy probably thinks that his method is more effective because he’s making a huge flame. But the truth is that this flame isn’t even coming from the can!
There were already flames in that fire, and this guy probably wanted to show off and make big flames by spraying some aerosol into the flames. As we said, those flames aren’t coming out of that can; they’re creeping towards it. Here’s hoping what happened next was that guy stopping his spraying.
