Camping pros know that it’s foolish to set camp at a low spot where rain may collect. However, this brave soul decided to pitch their tent on a river bed, a cringe-y sight for avid hikers! We’re not sure how the campers can even sleep inside the flooded tent, but this could have been avoided had they chosen higher ground.
This reminds us of four campers and two dogs that were stranded on a flooded Australian campsite in March 2021. Thankfully, all of them were safely flown away from the area via a helicopter.
