Cable isn’t the sole factor in attracting viewers; the rise of streaming sites and the proliferation of better content in recent years are also contributors. However, the increase in screen time is problematic and may lead to TV addiction, which isn’t officially a condition but stimulates the production of dopamine, called the feel-good hormone.
