Alan Halsall – Tyrone Dobbs, Coronation Street
Remember Samia Longchambon from a few paragraphs back? Well, she may still be on Coronation Street, But Alan Halsall is still on the soap, and he’s been on longer. He started his Coronation Street journey in 1998, playing the ever young Tyrone Dopps for over 20 years.
He won a National Television Awards for this role, and he was even married to Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson, although they have since filed for divorce. With the soap taking up most of his time, he doesn’t really do much other work, but he did recently feature himself on the early morning chat show, Lorraine.
