Jenna Coleman – Jasmine Thomas, Emmerdale
While she only had a seven-year stint on Emmerdale, for Jenna Coleman, playing Jasmine Thompson did more than just make her a household name. It also opened several other doors for her in television and film. The last time we saw her in Emmerdale was in a jail cell, but then Coleman suddenly appeared in another popular show.
Coleman auditioned for the show Doctor Who where she got the part of Clara Oswald and played the character for four seasons. From there, she moved on to playing Queen Victoria in the period drama series Victoria. In January 2021, she featured on an episode of the magazine program The One Show.
