This movie about a movie earned James Franco a Golden Globe Award. In The Disaster Artist, he played Tommy Wiseau. Tommy is the director and actor of a full movie titled, The Room, which has been cataloged as one of the worst in Hollywood history. Franco managed to show the deep sadness Wiseau was feeling while filming it. He also had to commune with Wiseau’s very different perspectives with regards to filming. James directed the movie alongside friend and fellow actor Seth Rogen. The Room has become a cult movie, which is appreciated by many due to how terrible it is.
