The year 2008 was a busy period for Robert Pattinson. Not only was the blockbuster hit movie Twilight released but he also played artist Salvador Dalí. Little Ashes dealt with Dalí’s romance with writer and poet Federico García Lorca. Set in Spain, this seemed to have been more up Pattinson’s alley, who had shown a preference for independent movies.
Pattinson had promoted his newest film The Lighthouse at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2019. And, it has been confirmed that Pattinson has accepted the challenge of playing the Caped Crusader.
