In 2019, the movie Bombshell was released, telling the story behind the harassment allegations against former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes. The movie wound up getting the Best Makeup and Hairstyling Academy Award in February 2020. Of course, seeing how Charlize Theron was transformed to look like Megyn Kelly, it was to be expected.
The award was shared by Kazu Hiro, Anne Morgan, and Vivian Baker. According to Interview Magazine, Hiro used a nose plug to make Theron’s nostrils wider. He also lengthened her jaw and gave a lot of emphasis on her jawline. The result is uncanny!
