Even though Tom Hiddleston is now mostly associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe character Loki, with his latest movie reprising the role being 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, he had played in many other successful films before. The biggest example was the movie I Saw the Light, directed by Marc Abraham and followed the story of the King of Country Music, Hank Williams.
Hank died of heart failure at age 29, on January 1, 1953, as he was trying to reach a scheduled gig, which he had delayed by one day already due to a storm. The movie depicted his sudden rise to fame and the effects it had on his health, body, and relationships.
