No one would’ve imagined that the star from High School Musical would one day incarnate one of the most terrifying and cold-blooded serial killers in the history of the United States. However, that was exactly what Zac Efron did in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
Zac portrayed the role of Ted Bundy, mostly from the perspective of Elizabeth Kloepfer who refused to see the truth almost until the end. The movie was released on the streaming TV platform Netflix in May 2019. Zac didn’t have to undergo a huge transformation as Bundy was able to pass as a regular and charismatic man, while no one knew what lurked underneath.
