Actor Ed Harris starred in the 2000 drama Pollock as artist Jackson Pollock, a film that also marked his directorial debut. For his exemplary performance, Harris won his first ever Academy Award honoring him as the Best Actor. In preparation for the role, Harris established a small studio at his house in Malibu so that he could mimic Pollock’s drip technique.
Harris is a California Institute of the Arts alumni with an estimated net worth of $20 million. He currently appears as the Man in Black in the sci-fi series Westworld that’s been running since 2016. His role on the show won him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
