The Long-lost Amusement Park
After watching Zombieland, quite a few adrenaline enthusiasts would’ve wished to go to an abandoned amusement park to fight off zombies or find hidden food. We were curious too, and while surfing the internet to find some cool closed theme parks, we stumbled across this picture.
Prominently known as Jazzland, this property was pulverized by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This was originally a theme park owned by The Six Flags organization, but after the disaster, major misfortunes befell it. The organization let go of it, and since then, though there have been talks about the state of New Orleans reopening it, the park hasn’t resurrected yet.
