Sacha Baron Cohen – The Oscars, 2012
Sacha Baron Cohen is renowned for creating over-the-top parody characters. From Ali G to Borat and Brüno, his characters are eccentric and overzealous in their methods of bringing a point across. When he was invited to the 2012 Oscars, he used the opportunity to promote his new film, The Dictator.
He showed up in character as Admiral General Aladeen, carrying an urn and saying it holds the ashes of the late North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il. He started spilling the dust all over the red carpet, even all over host Ryan Seacrest! It was recently announced that Cohen would star in a new film called Mandrake the Magician.
