Another item banned on airplanes is durian, an exotic Asian fruit. The pungent odor of durian has caused disruption in flights, so it is not allowed in countries such as Thailand, Japan, and Hong Kong. Despite the bans, travelers can rest assured that security personnel are doing their utmost to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
