Surprisingly, some airports are dog-friendly, and San Diego International Airport is one of them. According to Dogs on Planes, it was the first airport in the United States to have its own pet-relief area. This area features a red fire hydrant dogs love to use for urination.
Unfortunately, the airport only has one such station, causing long queues for people who need to give their dogs some time off. This also means the area can often become crowded with people and furry friends. This airport is an incredible place for dog owners and their pets, as long as they are prepared for the wait at the relief station.
