The Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen came under the spotlight with roles like Tonny, Detective Sergeant Allan Fischer, and Dr. Hannibal Lecter in Pusher, Rejseholdet, and Hannibal, respectively, among others. However, winning a role in a Marvel movie like Doctor Strange became a career highlight.
Mikkelsen played a villainous role named Kaecilius in Doctor Strange, where he had to have an interesting makeover to get into character. According to his interview with Entertainment Weekly, it took three hours of makeup to achieve the look, which did a number on his skin. Mikkelsen fans will be delighted to know that he would play Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts movies, replacing Johnny Depp.
