Sophie McShera As Daisy Mason
Sophie McShera is a sought-after actress on the British film scene, having had roles in popular series such as Waterloo Road, The Job Lot, and, most popularly, Downton Abby. She played the Kitchen Maid and later Assistant cook Daisy Mason.
Because the series is set in the early 1900s, characters needed to dress in era-specific attire, and as such, McShera was required to have a modest demeanor, which is far removed from her usual stylish look. During the last season of the show, McShera played the role of Drizella Tremaine in the 2015 film Cinderella. She has a role in another upcoming series called The Queen’s Gambit.
