Femi Taylor As Oola
Although she is no longer active in the film industry, Femi Taylor gained great popularity for playing the character Oola in Star Wars: The Return Of The Jedi. Her character was a slave dancer for the gangster Jabba The Hut, who famously dropped her into the Rancor’s cave beneath his throne.
Taylor was one of the only cast members from that scene who needed to return for the character to shoot more scenes for the film’s re-digitized versions and gained popularity, being invited to Star Wars and comic book conventions. Taylor also had the character Exotica in the 1998 film version of Cats especially created for her.
