Understandably, Rachel has taken some time off from her Tegucigalpa mission to focus on being a full-time mom. Considering she has five children to take care of, we can totally understand the decision. Nowadays, the couple is trying to enjoy life to the fullest in sunny Honduras, where their mixed-race family fits right in.
In a message of positivity, the Halberts have praised the changes in culture that have been taking place in the Christian and evangelical communities. They find it “especially encouraging” to see so many religious youngsters putting a “high priority on life, adoption and multi-ethnic families.”
