Waleed Aly – $900K per Year
The receiver of the 2016 Gold Logie award for ‘Best Personality on Australian Television,’ Waleed Aly has a resumé that reads like an action novel. His media career is surely impressive, but Aly is also a reputable academic, a husband and father of two, and, surprisingly enough, the lead guitarist of the “Robot Child” rock band!
His primary occupation is to host the popular show “The Project,” which justifies most of his impressive salary of $900K per year. A former solicitor, Aly published the eye-opening book “People Like Us” in 2007. As an academic, he’s a member of the Global Terrorism Research Centre at Monash University.
