Tara Brown – $80K per Year
As perhaps one of the most revered Australian reporters of the last few decades, Tara Brown is paid a reported annual salary of $80K for her work at Nine Network. A Charles Strut University graduate, she went on from working as a newsroom assistant to hosting some of the most important news programs in the land down under.
Accustomed to covering stories as important as the struggle of the Bei Hei refugees in southern China, Brown is best known for her role as a “60 Minutes,” “A Current Affair,” and “Nine News” presenter. Previously married to the producer John McAvoy, she’s a mother of two.
