It’s hard to imagine that at one point, Sylvester Stallone was flat broke and had to sell his dog and participate in adult media to make ends meet. But then he sold his first script, which became the first Rocky movie, and he hasn’t slowed down since, and now stands on a $400 million net worth.
Although he had a slow period in the early ’00s, he bounced back brilliantly by writing and starring in the ensemble action film The Expendables. He has reprised his role as Rocky Balboa and John Rambo in modern iterations and is set to star in a superhero movie called Samaritan, which is due out in 2021.
