Usually, you would be irritated if someone photobombs your photo. But if it were this cute, who would complain? Even National Geographic was enamored with the sight that it shared the snap on its website in August 2009.
Melissa and Jackson Brandts had just fixed their tripod and were hoping to use Lake Minnewanka as their background. Before the timer hit one, this curious creature, called Crasher Squirrel, appeared in front of the lens, seemingly curious about what’s happening. The focus shifted on the rodent and captured this precious sight, which has since gone viral.
