It’s not every day that families get to visit Disneyland, and many consider going to the theme park as a luxury. No wonder kids love this place! But even if it is dubbed the Happiest Place on Earth, this group probably wasn’t ecstatic to be there or had yet to feel the magic.
Walt Disney created this theme park because he wanted his family to have fun together, regardless of age. So, in July 1955, the first Disneyland opened, giving new meaning to the word entertainment. It underwent its first significant expansion in 1959.
