Apparently, they aren’t lying in the movies when they show you how people are welcomed to Miami at the airport. There really are scantily clad girls and boys welcoming tourists with an “Aloha” and a lei (flower necklace). They may actually do the hula too.
This woman found this out, and she seems to be shocked by the welcome, almost as if she thought it only happens in the movies. Or maybe she was a little awkward by how close that striking young man was getting to her. She shouldn’t have been surprised that the Hawaiians hug for everything: hello, goodbye, sorry, good luck.
