Melissa McCarthy, who made a cameo in the 2022 film “Thor: Love and Thunder,” has lost 75 pounds. The “Bridesmaids” star was able to do it by going on a low-carb diet. She also did consistent strength and cardio training, working out daily.

McCarthy started in the entertainment industry by being typecast for quirky sidekick roles but eventually started bagging lead roles, like what she had in “Superintelligence.” She even got to work on dramatic projects like “Nine Perfect Strangers,” which also starred Nicole Kidman. For her work on the limited series, she got nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Critics’ Choice Award.
